Turns out that the 10 litre bag of oil in a box is basically impossible to use like a cask of wine. Fumbling about with the tap trying to get it out of the box resulted in the retainer coming off the tap and the tap flipping open. Had to rip the box open to close the tap. Lost a good sample into the box. On the upside, I could lick the spilt oil off my fingers to determine it tastes quite okay. Haven't decanted or used any yet as I'm waiting for the disappointment to fade...
