The Ultimate Crowd Drawer: Jalapeño Margaritas

There are party starters, and then are party launchers. We believe our recipe for Jalapeño margs falls into the latter, because having tried and tested with multiple groups of family and friends, the one resounding and common piece of feedback was "WOOO!".

Trust us when we say this drink should be at the top of your next party planning list.

Jalapeño Margaritas

Ingredients

  • 1/3 ounce jalapeño agrumato

  • 1/4 jalapeño pepper, sliced, for garnish

  • 1 ounce blanco tequila

  • 1 ounce orange liqueur, like Cointreau, Grand Marnier, or triple sec

  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice, plus a lime wedge for the glass rim

  • Ice

Method

  1. Prep the rim of the glass (optional): Rub the lime wedge around the rim of a rocks glass. Fill a small plate with kosher salt. Salt to coat the rim. Fill with ice.
  2. Add the tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, jalapeno agrumato and agave nectar and fill the cocktail shaker with ice. Cover and shake until chilled.
  3. Strain into the prepared glass.
  4. Garnish with jalapeño slices and serve.
